I am the victim to believe that lie.

I am selling products that solidify an issue in the customer's mind. They are for people directly involved with those specific issues. They are not for others who are not directly involved with those issues. A broad age demographic is to be used. The prospective customers are already thinking about these concerns. The payoff is that the customers announce to themselves, and others with those same issues, that these are their realities, and that the others are not alone with those realities.

Be loyal to yourself not to a company! If no promotion find another job and give notice you are leaving! Most jobs give promotions to people that are their favorites and those people are usually second rate workers! It's a slap in the face just take your skills elsewhere!

Problem #3 There’s too much crap management in the world, especially at the front line level, to take advice at your level at face value. Especially if there’s an agenda against your current manager. Who you work for makes a world of difference in these matters.

The ages old saying “birds of the same feathers flock together” always applies. On many occurances I noticed that the majority of the people promoted are the ones who are ready to carry out undesirable agendas. Innovation is one of the least desirable skills because many companies apply the management by fear where mistakes are sorely punished. Innovation requires a corporate culture which allows trial and error. How many actually apply that?

If that's the case then what is the point of working hard? And what's the point of working? It's already hard to survive as bills nowadays skyrocket but now you have to sell your soul too just to be allowed to work and not get fired or afford being alive? What's the point of living then?

The highest level value being communication makes sense. It’s so common that the biggest BS’ers get promoted! By the way, it’s not just “the two biggest lies that we are led to believe” (education and hard-work). After watching this, I realized that there are two more lies not mentioned. “Ethics” and “integrity” have no value in the workplace, just ask any whistleblower from Boeing.

In my experience, the phrase "time is money" means the opposite of what you're saying. When people say that, they mean that time IS VERY valuable. The people who wait in line for 2 hours to save a few cents don't live by that phrase. That being said, I agree with video. Good stuff! Thanks!

i never understood this. I have run into accountants that do not understand accounting principles,....Yes, the guy who can do something is left in that position, but as a manager i want the guy who does his job, knows it, and has leadership skills.....problem solvers who go out and help fill gaps, thats the person who can make things work.

I love your content Dr. Grace! However, I would like to share the following knowledge with you and the community about the information of this video: if you live your whole life with a sense of urgency (which is also part of an unconscious programming) you will continue to live as a slave; the only difference will be that you changed of master -time instead of money-. Saludos desde México.

Hi, Dr. Grace I would like to point out that all of your concepts are on point. Being middle manager, I am unconsciously doing these things. Now that I am aware, I can utilize these things. People who watched this are lucky, this video should not be free. 😂

It's basically what we see since elementary... who was chosen as principle... popularitry... challenging for those not charming, those not within the same race, for those that may be harder to understand... but if those may be a problem... and no matter how hard... put a smile on your face and try to enforce as much postitive attittude moving forward

Emotional boundaries are big and lacking in the millennial and younger workforce. A generation of failed parenting created significant enmeshment issues that can really screw a person up. Personally speaking, it took ten years of therapy to really get a handle on it.

No one needs MBA, masters, or whatever. It is complete useless garbage. I met Most r…ded, rude and incapable individuals with „Bocconi MBA“ 😂 There is a guy with both PHD and D.Sc (i think), hundreds of projects, courses, certificates, books, etc. Still just a mid level manager below someone with a bachelor. Education is garbage in business, completely useless, believe me. Managers and business owners make PHD‘s work for them and talk about it. It is true 🤷🏼‍♂️ But if u are into science and research, then it’s another story. But i am not sure if researchers make $$$, except those who capitalized on Corona when the words needed the cure… 🤢

More hard work from lower rungs result in more ostentatious life for upper rung parasites.
